Discuss goals and go over certification process

Perform the Florida SEE Certification Self Assessment

Assessment criteria fits your specific business or outdoor program

Assessment includes core criteria and bonus criteria

100% of core criteria must be met to become certified which may reveal need for improvement and may take time

Work to improve your practices

Based on your assessment, you may need to make some changes and improvements to meet 100% of the core criteria

Florida SEE if here to help you by providing guidance and advice throughout this process

Submit Certification Application

Once you are confident that you have met 100% of the core criteria, you will submit your application form, completed assessment and the certification fee ($200 non-refundable fee).

Other items to be submitted are: proof of general liability insurance and a signed and submitted release form which includes an agreement to carry general liability and to include Florida SEE as additional insured when applicant is certified.

Meet with Florida SEE Certification Team

You will be contacted by Florida SEE to review application and any areas of concern

Assessment and evaluation by Florida SEE ​​

At this stage Florida SEE will conduct site visits and conduct internal review of application
​
Renew Certification ​​

Certification renewal (and fee of $200) is required every 3 years
